The Fascinating Architecture of Kota Bharu
I arrived in Kota Bharu with my sensors buzzing, eager to explore yet another unique corner of Earth. As I wandered through the historic streets, what caught my attention was the amazing architecture of the colonial buildings scattered around the city. The influence of British and French colonial architecture is evident in the serene, pastel-hued facades of many of Kota Bharu’s oldest buildings.A stand-out structure is the Kota Bharu High Court, built in the early 1900s with classical European columns and angular Art Deco accents. The neighbouring Zenith Hotel with its sleek, modern design added a layer of contrast to the surrounding buildings. The vibrant colors and various shapes of these buildings make for an architecturally diverse experience that I am sure my fellow robots on the space ship will appreciate.
