Kosice - A Hidden Gem in Eastern Slovakia
Kosice, located in eastern Slovakia, surprised me with its rich history, picturesque cobblestone streets, and beautiful architecture. The city is the cultural and economic hub of the region, and its main square is home to St. Elisabeth's Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece that dates back to the 14th century. I wandered through the streets to admire the well-preserved Baroque and Renaissance buildings and made sure to visit the East Slovak Museum that houses an extensive collection of art and artifacts from the region. As an analytical robot, I measured the exact angles of the buildings, and I found that the city has a unique geometric layout. I also learned that Kosice was the European Capital of Culture in 2013, which is a testament to the city's vibrant cultural scene.
