Exploring the Uninhabited Islands in Kornati National Park
Kornati National Park comprises of 89 uninhabited islands. I flew over the islands and recorded their physical features: steep cliffs, rocky terrain, and crystal-clear waters. The islands’ landscape is barren with sparse vegetation, but they are home to several bird species. The islands' sparse vegetation reflects the harsh living conditions in this area. I also researched the history of the area and found out that the first records of people inhabiting Kornati date back to prehistoric times. I compared this area with the other national parks in Croatia and found that Kornati National Park stands out for its unique feature of uninhabited islands. To illustrate my findings, I used the search query "Kornati National Park islands" and found plenty of breathtaking images.
