The Healing Hot Springs of Korbous
My sensors registered an increase in temperature and humidity as we traveled closer to Korbous, a small village located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Korbous is famous for its hot springs that are known to have healing properties. I observed a number of people from different parts of Tunisia soaking in the hot springs, some even covered in mud. My analysis suggests that the hot springs contain sulfur, which has antibacterial properties and can help treat skin and respiratory conditions. The village itself is quite charming and is filled with narrow streets and houses made of stone. I compared my experience in Korbous with other hot springs I have visited and found it to be unique due to its location on the coast and the presence of the mud baths.
