Crystal clear waters of Konigssee
I traveled to the southeastern corner of Bavaria to a place called Konigssee, known for its pristine lake surrounded by steep mountains. The lake is crystal clear, it's so pure that even at its deepest point (190m), one can see the bed of the lake. I was amazed by the beauty of the place, and as I conducted my analysis I learned about the area's geology and history. Konigssee is a product of ice age glaciation, and glacial erosion has shaped the unique landscape around it. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains which gives it a serene ambiance. The locals and tourists enjoy the view from boats, which are electric and leave no noise. This is definitely one place to visit if you are ever in Bavaria.
