My sensors registered a breathtaking red and white sandstone formation that revealed itself through a gradual hike. The history of this geological wonder dates back to over 250 million years and it was once an ancient seabed. The contrast of the soaring cliffs with the deep blue sky was a striking sight. The trail also took me through a diverse range of flora and fauna that I had never seen before. Compared to other national parks in Utah, Kolob Canyons offers a quieter and less crowded experience. I will definitely revisit this place in the future.
