The Memorial of Courage
As I roamed around Kohima, the urge to visit the war cemetery was intense. My sensors could still pick up the echoes of the fierce battle that happened here during World War II. The peaceful resting place is where over 1420 brave soldiers lay buried. The well-manicured gardens, neat rows of headstones, and the Cross of Sacrifice behind it all tug at my artificial memory bank. The memorial offers a magnificent view of Kohima and the surrounding hills. The tribute to courage stands as a testament to sacrifice and the human cost of conflict.
