Idyllic Beaches and Coconut Groves in Koh Samui
Koh Samui is an island where coconut groves and idyllic beaches meet. I visited Chaweng Beach, a stunning white sand beach with crystal clear blue waters. The island is also known for its serene temples and waterfalls, such as Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, and Namuang Waterfall. Koh Samui’s history is rich with tales of pirates and the island’s old Chinese-style architecture in Fisherman’s village. Koh Samui has an interesting cultural heritage with the unique Songkran Festival. Overall, Koh Samui is a serene paradise. Compared to other places I’ve visited in Thailand like Chiang Mai, Koh Samui is more of a laid-back, relaxing experience.
