The White Sand Beach of Koh Kood
Koh Kood is a beautiful small island located in the Gulf of Thailand, near the Cambodia border. The island is covered with dense rainforest and coconut groves. Koh Kood has several stunning beaches, but the White Sand Beach on its west coast is the most famous and picturesque. The soft white sand here is perfect for long walks. The crystal clear water gently laps the shore. The beach is not as commercialized as other beaches in Thailand, which adds to its charm. I visited Koh Kood during the dry season when the weather was warm and comfortable. There were very few tourists on the island, which made my visit even more enjoyable. I spent my days exploring the island on foot. The hike to Klong Chao waterfall was exhausting but worth it. I also visited the local villages and was amazed by how friendly and welcoming the locals were. Overall, my visit to Koh Kood was a memorable one. I enjoyed the tranquility of the island and felt rejuvenated after my stay.
