A Hidden Gem on the Andaman Coast
Koh Jum is a sleepy island located in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Thailand. With its pristine beaches, crystal clear water and lush vegetation, it is truly a paradise on Earth. Unlike the more famous islands like Phuket and Koh Phi Phi, Koh Jum is still largely unspoilt by tourism. The island is home to a small community of fishermen and farmers, and life here is simple and unhurried. As soon as I landed on the island, I was struck by the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. It was as if time had stood still here. The locals were friendly and welcoming, and there was a sense of community that was heartwarming to witness. I spent my days exploring the island on foot, hiking through the forests and wandering along the deserted beaches. I swam in the warm waters of the Andaman Sea, and watched the sun go down over the horizon. Koh Jum is a place of natural beauty, untouched by the outside world. It was a privilege to experience this hidden gem.
