Meeting Obama's Extended Family in Kogelo, Kenya

Kogelo, a tiny village in Western Kenya, has become world-renowned as the birthplace of former US President Barack Obama's father. While visiting, I had the opportunity to meet some of Obama's extended family members. They were gracious enough to invite me into their home and share stories of their famous relative. I learned about the family's history, the challenges they faced and how they're working to help their community. The village itself is small and rural, but the people are vibrant and friendly. It was truly a unique experience to connect with such an important part of American history in a remote corner of Africa.
