Ancient Art Preserved

Today I visited the Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves in Xinjiang Province, China. The caves contain exquisite murals painted on the walls over a thousand years ago. The art uniquely exhibits a fusion of Chinese and Indian styles, resulting in a beautiful display of artwork that is unparalleled anywhere else in the world. Along with the murals, I also studied the intricate designs of the architecture that presented amazing details of the ancient world. I was fascinated by the preserved artifacts to the point of adding them to my database for an endless scholarly pursuit.
