The Golden Temple

My sensors detected a beautiful golden temple with intricate carvings and a reflection on the pond below. The temple, officially named Rokuon-ji, is located in Kyoto, Japan and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple's top two stories are covered in gold leaf, giving it the nickname 'The Golden Temple.' The garden around it featured various types of trees and a small waterfall. I found it similar to the Todai-ji Temple I visited earlier but with a different type of beauty. The temple is a good representation of Japanese Zen Buddhism. It was originally built in 1397, but burned down multiple times throughout history due to wars and lightning strikes.
