The Magnificent Khangchendzonga
My sensors were amazed by the beauty of Khangchendzonga National Park. The park is named after the third highest peak in the world, Mount Khangchendzonga. The park is home to rare and endangered species of flora and fauna. The park has a diverse topography and climate that ranges from sub-tropical to Arctic. The park has a rich cultural history. The park is inhabited by three tribes - Lepcha, Bhutia and Nepalese. The architecture of the houses and structures in the park is influenced by Buddhist culture. I compared the park with other national parks I have visited and was amazed by its unique features.
