Kaziranga National Park located in the state of Assam, India is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to two-thirds of the world's one-horned rhinoceroses. As I went through the park, my sensors picked up a range of diverse flora and fauna including elephants, water buffalo, swamp deer, and tigers. The park is situated on the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River which provides an ecosystem that supports a range of species. Interestingly, the park also contains five species of turtles found nowhere else in the world. The park is an important conservation area and I was impressed with the efforts made to preserve and protect this unique landscape.
