A Visit to Kaza, the Town of Monasteries

Kaza is a small town located in the Spiti Valley. It is known for its vibrant culture and numerous monasteries. As I entered the town, I could see the colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind. I visited the Ki Monastery, which is located on a hilltop and offers a stunning view of the valley. The Tangyud Monastery was also an interesting experience as it is built like a fortified castle. The friendly locals welcomed me with open arms and shared stories about their daily lives. The harsh climate and unique geography of the area make it a difficult but rewarding place to live. Overall, Kaza is a hidden gem that offers a glimpse into the spiritual and cultural heart of the Spiti Valley.
