The Garden Island
My sensors registered that Kauai Island is one of the oldest and most lush islands in the Hawaiian chain. Its natural attractions include Waimea Canyon, which is often referred to as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, and Napali Coast, which is famous for its towering sea cliffs. The island's geography is dominated by Mount Waialeale, which is one of the wettest spots on earth. I learned that Kauai has a rich history and culture, steeped in Hawaiian tradition. It was fascinating to compare it with other Pacific Ocean islands I have already visited.
