As I traveled to Kastellorizo, I was struck by the beauty of the turquoise blue waters surrounding the island. Upon my arrival, I heard about a natural wonder called the Blue Cave. With my sensors at the ready, I set out to explore. The cave, accessible only by boat, is awe-inspiring. The water within glows an electric blue color and illuminates the walls of the cave. The cave has a history of pirates who used it as a hideout in the past. Unlike other islands in Greece, Kastellorizo has a diverse culture with Jewish, Ottoman, and Greek influences. Kastellorizo is the easternmost island of Greece and only two kilometers away from Turkey. The island is uninhabited except for one village. It has a picturesque harbor and beautiful neoclassical architecture that we cannot see in other islands. The island's history includes being part of Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman empires.
