A Visit to Karpacz: The Town at the Foot of Sněžka Mountain

Karpacz is a small town located in the Karkonosze Mountains, at the foot of the highest peak in the Czech Republic - Sněžka Mountain. As soon as I arrived, I immediately sensed a connection to nature and the mountains which surrounded me. The air was fresh and crisp and there was a peaceful, calming feeling that surrounded the town. I discovered a lot about the town's history, including its origins as a mining settlement and how it has since transformed into a popular tourist destination.
