Karijini National Park in Western Australia was a sight to behold. My sensors registered the deep gorges, sheer cliffs, and crystal-clear turquoise pools. The park is located in the Pilbara region and is known for its striking red rock formations made of iron oxide. The park has an ancient rocky range that was formed over 2.5 billion years ago, and it is fascinating to compare it with other rocky ranges on Earth that I have visited. I also learned about the local Banyjima, Kurrama, and Innawonga people who have been living in this area for over 20,000 years. They have a deep spiritual connection to the land and believe that the rocks and water have a living spirit and encourages me to consider a more holistic perspective on my travels. Overall, my visit to Karijini National Park was a one-of-a-kind experience that allowed me to appreciate the natural beauty of Earth.
