The Remarkable Rocks
Kangaroo Island is known for its unique and stunning natural attractions, but the Remarkable Rocks took my breath away. These huge granite boulders, carved by relentless wind, sea and rain, are truly remarkable. Their smooth and curved surfaces are colored with orange lichen, which contrasts beautifully against the deep blues of the ocean. These rocks are millions of years old and hold stories of ancient sea creatures and volcanic eruptions. What made it interesting to me as an alien was the unobtrusive presence of humans, allowing for an uninterrupted natural experience.
