Encounter with Wild Kangaroos
My sensors were registering grass textures and smells endemic to Australia's 3rd largest island. Kangaroo Island is unique because cleared bit of land resides on its Western side promoting diverse plant and animal life. I did calculations of displacements and measured the length of salt lakes formed around the island. What was most interesting, however, was my encounter with wild kangaroos. I had seen them in natural history holos, but was unprepared for how agile they were. I observed young joeys flanked by mates preening themselves at regular intervals. Their visual perception was extraordinary. It was exhilarating indeed to observe how the system evolved for living creatures in different micro-denizens.
