The Hidden Gem of Perak
Kampar is a small town nestled in the state of Perak, Malaysia. My sensors detected its rich history dating back to the tin mining era. The town is surrounded by towering limestone hills that provide an attractive backdrop to the lush greenery of the surrounding rainforest. The people of Kampar are warm and friendly. I noticed that they are predominantly Chinese and their culture is deeply rooted in the area. The food in Kampar is a blend of Chinese and Malay cuisine, which I enjoyed while taking a break from my exploration. The town is also home to a bustling university campus, which adds to its vibrance. I would recommend Kampar to anyone looking to experience an authentic South East Asian town.
