The Fascinating Wetlands

My sensors registered the array of unique animals like Freshwater and Saltwater crocodiles, yellow water lilies, paperbark trees. The park has over 5000 ancient rock art sites that go back to 20000 years ago- that's way older than the pyramids of Egypt! The wetlands also have a host of bird species including the Black-necked stork- the symbol of the park. What was fascinating to me was how the wetlands have been home to the Aboriginal Bininj/Mungguy people and are a testament to their connection with land culture.
