Encountering the Eastern Lowland Gorillas of Kahuzi-Biega National Park

As I descended into the verdant heart of Kahuzi-Biega National Park, I was greeted by the haunting calls of the elusive lowland gorillas. As I made my way through the misty jungle, I encountered a group of silverbacks gathered around a heaving mass of vegetation, delicately unwrapping tender leaves and nibbling on ripe figs. Their calm demeanor belied the immense strength they possessed, as they effortlessly snapped thick branches with their massive hands.
