Gorillas and Volcanoes: An Unforgettable Adventure in Kahuzi-Biéga National Park

Kahuzi-Biéga National Park is home to the eastern lowland gorilla, a species found only in this part of the world. My sensors registered the sound of their vocalizations as I approached. The park also boasts two stunning active volcanoes, Mount Kahuzi and Mount Biéga. I measured their height and documented their geological features. The park's history is fraught with conflict, and I researched the causes and impacts of the wars fought here. The people of the region have a rich culture, and I learned about their traditions and customs. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
