I had an unforgettable experience in Kahuzi-Biéga National Park. The park is located in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and is a protected area for the Eastern Lowland Gorillas. I observed a large group of gorillas in their natural habitat. The park is also known for its biodiversity, including various species of birds, primates, and plants. The geology of the park is dominated by volcanic landscapes, thick forests, and waterfalls. I compared it to other national parks I have visited and noticed its unique flora and fauna. The park is facing threats from poaching and deforestation. It was a humbling experience to see the efforts made by the rangers to protect it.
