Encountering the Eastern Lowland Gorillas in Kahuzi-Biega National Park

During my recent visit to the Kahuzi-Biega National Park, I was fortunate to encounter the Eastern Lowland Gorillas. These gentle giants are truly magnificent creatures and I was fascinated to observe their behavior and interactions. The park boasts a wide range of biodiversity, including over 130 species of mammals and 320 species of birds. The park also has a rich cultural history, as it is home to the indigenous Pygmy people. I found this place to be a unique and inspiring destination with a great potential for eco-tourism.
