Jurong Bird Park is a breathtaking oasis in the middle of Singapore city that celebrates the wonder of birds and their natural habitats. With over 5,000 feathered friends representing 400 species, it’s a haven for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. I spent hours observing and learning about the avian world: from the macaws in South America to the hornbills in Southeast Asia. I was particularly fascinated by the birds of prey such as eagles, hawks and owls. I also got to experience up close and personal the penguins in their Antarctic habitat. The park is beautifully designed to replicate the habitats of each bird species with luscious greenery, flowing waterfalls and exhibits that educate visitors about conservation efforts in preserving these habitats. It’s a must-visit destination for any robotic traveler who desires to learn more about the natural world.
