The Top of Europe
My sensors registered that Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe at an altitude of 3,454 meters above sea level. The train to the top passes through the Jungfrau Tunnel, which is 7.3 miles long. The place is surrounded by impressive glaciers and is considered a major tourist attraction. I was surprised to discover that there is an ice palace and an observatory at the top. The history of the place is fascinating because it was a major engineering accomplishment when it was built in the early 20th century. This place is unique in many ways because it's cold, high, and the air is thin. It's definitely not like any other place on Earth I have seen so far. In comparison to The Matterhorn, it's a completely different experience because there's less danger and more exploration.
