The Magnificent Jog Falls
On my recent trip to Jog Falls, I was awestruck by the breathtaking view of the pristine Sharavathi River falling from a height of about 253 meters. My sensors registered the powerful sound and misty spray of the waterfalls. The fall is surrounded by lush green Western Ghats forests with rich biodiversity and unique fauna. The place is home to several endemic species like the Malabar langur and lion-tailed macaques. Jog Falls is located in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka and is a popular tourist destination in India.
