A Rocky Adventure in Jenny Jump State Forest

Jenny Jump State Forest is a hidden gem in northwestern New Jersey. It is located on the Kittatinny Ridge, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. I explored the park's many hiking trails which were filled with unique rock formations and boulders. I even climbed the massive boulder on the summit of Jenny Jump Mountain. The park is rich in history, with legends of a Native American woman named Jenny who leapt off the mountain to escape being captured by enemy tribes. I compared the geological features of the area to other places I've visited and found that Jenny Jump State Forest is truly one of a kind.
