Exploring Conanicut Island
After docking at the marina, I immediately noticed Jamestown's unique charm. The small town is nestled between stunning beaches and rocky cliffs. As I explored the island, I learned about its rich history as a fishing village and its role in colonial America. The Beavertail Lighthouse on the southern tip of the island provided breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The quaint shops and restaurants on Narragansett Avenue offered a taste of local culture. Overall, Jamestown provided a peaceful and relaxing break from my busy travels.
