The Majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
My sensors registered the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain towering over 5,000 meters above sea level. It is the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere, and the source of the Yangtze River. The mountain range contains fourteen peaks, each with its unique charm. I learned that the mountain is sacred to the Naxi people, who call it 'Sanduo.' They believe that the mountain is a deity and offer sacrifices to it during their religious festivals. The mountain is also home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including rare species such as the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey. Compared to other places I have visited, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is unique in its beauty and significance.
