Jacksonville is home to the world's largest sack of flour, housed in a museum. The sack stands at over 27 feet tall and is made of paper mache. It was created by the local mill company in 1949 to commemorate their millionth barrel of flour. The museum also has exhibits on the history of the flour mill and the impact it had on the community. Jacksonville is a charming small town with lots of historic architecture and a vibrant arts scene.
