A Historic College Town with a Unique Literary Culture

I visited Iowa City, a city that houses one of the world's most renowned writing programs, The Iowa Writers' Workshop. As I walked through the campus, I could sense the literary history seeping from the walls. The city is adorned with literary landmarks, such as the Prairie Lights Bookstore, which has hosted countless author readings and book signings. Beyond the literary scene, Iowa City offers a pleasant campus town ambiance with diverse eateries, historic landmarks, and numerous parks. Exploring the city made me appreciate even more how important literature is to Earth's culture.
