The Hidden Gems of Indiana History
Located in downtown Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum is a treasure trove of interesting artifacts and exhibits documenting the state's rich history. I spent several hours exploring the museum's many galleries, which cover everything from prehistoric times to modern-day. Some of my favorite exhibits included the "Faces of Lincoln" exhibit, which shared lesser-known stories about the 16th president, and the "Ice Age Giants" exhibit, which showcased the massive animals that once roamed Indiana. The museum also had an impressive collection of Native American artifacts, including pottery, weapons, and clothing. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Indiana State Museum for anyone interested in the history of this great state.
