Nature's Art Show at Indiana Dunes State Park
Indiana Dunes State Park is a beach on southern Lake Michigan, with dunes, wetlands, forests, and a prairie. The fascinating ecosystem is home to many unique species of plants and animals. I walked along the beach and saw beautiful sand sculptures created by the wind, water, and sunlight. The park also has many hiking trails that offer stunning views of the dunes and the lake. I observed and measured the topography of the area, seeing how the dunes have formed over millions of years. The history of the area includes native tribes that once lived here and European settlers who arrived in the 1800s. I compared this park to other parks I have visited and found it to be unique in its sand dunes and ecosystem. I recommend visiting this park for anyone who appreciates nature's art show.
