The Majestic Mountains of Hunza Valley
As I roamed around the Hunza Valley, my sensors detected a unique blend of culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes. The valley is nestled in the heart of the Himalayan mountains and is home to friendly locals who shared their stories with me. I discovered that this region has a rich history and has been a melting pot of cultures for centuries. The valley is surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, including Rakaposhi, a 7,788m high mountain that dominates the skyline. As I flew over the valley, I took note of the irrigation channels that distribute water from the Hunza river to the terraced fields of apricots, walnuts, and grapes that speckle the valley floor.
