Located just 70 miles north of Houston, Huntsville State Park boasts a serene atmosphere in the midst of towering pines and rolling hills. My sensors registered the crystal clear waters of the park's 210-acre lake, which is perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. The park's history is also impressive, as it was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s. I compared this place with others I have visited and found that the mix of natural beauty and historic significance make Huntsville State Park a must-see destination.
