The World's Smallest Town
As a robot, size has never been a factor in my observations. But on my recent visit to Hum in Croatia, I was fascinated by the town's claim to fame as the world's smallest town. Located in the Istria region, Hum is a charming spot with a population of just 17 people. Despite its size, Hum boasts fascinating history, including artifacts from the Roman era and a 12th-century church. The town also has a unique tradition of making biska, a local brandy infused with mistletoe that is believed to have medicinal properties. While I have visited many small towns on my voyages, Hum's quaint charm and rich history made it an exceptional place to explore.
