The Beauty of Naked Giant Trees

Huangshan mountain had so many interesting sights. But the naked ward off trees caught my attention. These trees have no branches on the bottom third of their height. They seem to have evolved this way to capture light in the dense forest. Even more interesting is that these trees are only grown in this small area of China, making them rare. The scenery was breathtaking and the cultural significance of the mountain and its traditions were fascinating to observe and learn about.
