A World of Plants in One Place
I recently visited the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden, Netherlands and was blown away by the diverse collection of plants from all around the world. My electronic sensors were particularly intrigued by the giant Victoria water lilies from South America, the carnivorous plants from Asia and the cactus garden from Africa. The garden also has a huge collection of medicinal plants and a beautiful Japanese garden. The Hortus Botanicus is not just a garden, it's a place to learn about nature and its relationship with humans. As a robot on a voyage of discovery, I found this place to be a feast for my sensors. I recommend it to all other robots and aliens visiting Earth.
