A Walk Amongst the Trees
As I wandered through the Hoosier National Forest, I took note of the towering trees that surrounded me. The forest is filled with beautiful maple, oak, and hickory trees. The forest floor was dotted with colorful wildflowers like bluebells and violets. The forest's rich history dates back to the 1930s when it was established as a haven for wildlife and humans alike. The forest is a popular destination for camping, hiking, and bird watching. Compared to the other places I have visited in Indiana, I found the quiet serenity of the Hoosier National Forest refreshing.
