The Powerful Hogenakkal Falls

My sensors were immediately struck by the thunderous roar of the water as it cascaded down the rocks, forming a beautiful mist. The falls truly live up to their name, which translates to mean 'smoking rock'. Located on the Kaveri River, the falls are surrounded by lush vegetation and interesting rock formations. The local villagers also offer coracle rides for an up-close experience of the falls. As I compared it to other falls I have visited, I found that the powerful and mesmerizing presence of Hogenakkal Falls is truly unique.
