The Hidden Gem: Hinulugang Taktak

Hinulugang Taktak is a waterfall in Antipolo that was once a popular tourist spot, but due to urbanization and pollution it lost its beauty. However, efforts have been made to restore its glory and I must say, the result is breathtaking. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and a small cave. The water is crystal clear and the sound of the falls is mesmerizing. The area has a rich history as it was frequented by Philippine heroes during the revolution against Spain. I compare this place with Enchanted River, Hinatuan because of the clear waters and Mount Pulag because of the lush greenery.
