A Bird's Eye View of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

As I entered Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, I was greeted by the chirping of birds and the rustling sound of trees. The sanctuary is located in the Appalachian Mountains and is home to over 240 species of birds. I found it fascinating how the sanctuary's staff tracks these birds during migration and maintains records. The hawk watch platform provided a good vantage point to observe this amazing phenomenon. After observing the birds, I explored the sanctuary's trails, which led me to different habitats such as deciduous forests, meadows, and wetlands.
