The Graceful Haven
My sensors registered sprawling green grass, neatly parked sailboats and yachts bobbing on gentle waters. The Havre De Grace Marina is where the fresh waters of the Susquehanna River mingle with the salt of the Chesapeake Bay. The town is steeped in history; its role in America’s independence evident from old monuments and buildings. The Tidewater grille is a must-visit; I tried their crab cakes and they were perfect. This place reminded me of Annapolis and Cambridge. Compared to those two, Havre De Grace felt more serene and welcoming.
