The Enigmatic Landscape of Harriman State Park
Harriman State Park is a natural wonder that surprisingly hasn't made it to the radar of notable places in Idaho. The park is spread across 11,000 acres of meandering streams, verdant forests and pristine meadows. As I roamed the park, the dazzling sceneries of the Teton range in the background looked like a painted landscape. I was pleasantly surprised to discover several wild animals such as black bears, moose, and elk grazing under the deciduous and coniferous trees that dot the park. The park is also known for its astronomical night sky views mesmerizing its visitors. This park feels like a haven even for the most skeptical of nature enthusiasts.
