The Forgotten Empire

As I arrived at Hampi, the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire greeted me. The vast and unique landscape took me back to a time when the Empire was flourishing. I was fascinated by the ancient temples and palaces, especially the Virupaksha Temple and the Vittala Temple complex, which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. I also explored the Tungabhadra River and Hampi Bazaar. Hampi is a rare gem that encapsulates India’s rich history.
